Winter 2010 Contact Info Required & RemindersNote: It is best if you complete your contact during the month of February. By this time you should have a sense of how you are doing in your semester. However, if you are experiencing difficulties, please contact your education counsellor sooner. The deadline to complete your contact(s) by is March 19, 2010 or April funds will be placed on Hold. Your contact should address the following:
How are you doing in each of your courses? (Be honest & identify any specific concerns you may have.)
Have you made any changes in your course load (dropped or added courses)?
Advise if you are doing a placement this term and if you need a "Placement Confirmation Letter" sent to you.
Do you think tutorial assistance is needed for any courses? (Full time students are eligible for a maximum of $150/semester. An invoice for reimbursement must be sent in prior to the end of the semester (there is a sample copy of an invoice in the 2009/10 GRPSEO student information calendar and on our website).
Have there been any changes in your address (mailing & home), phone number, and email address? Where do you want your mail sent? Make sure you check your email regularly!
The next email update will be sent out March 1. Please read it.
Did you remember to opt out of your Health plan? You may have to opt out for the winter semester. Check this with your institution. o
We will not be holding the Post Secondary Recognition Event in August. Our focus will be on the Graduate Promotion publication. Graduating students can have their Grad Photo published in the Tekawennake, Brantford Expositor and Hamilton Spectator newspapers free of charge during the month of December. If you will be graduating by Oct 31, 2010, ask your counsellor for more info.

Your winter 2010 marks are due May 17, 2010.
An official transcript is due July 1, 2010.
If you are graduating this term please forward a copy of your degree or diploma once you have received it. (Please note if grades for Winter are not received, then an overpayment for all costs expended in Winter 2010 will be applied.)
Applications for Fall 2010 are due May 17, 2010 Remember, you can apply on-line at www.grpseo.org. Applications are available on the website or you can request that an application package be mailed to you. You can also print an application package from the USB that was sent to you.
Your April education allowance will be deposited to your account on Thursday, April 1, 2010.
Don't forget to apply for any scholarships you may be eligible for.
GRPSEO's scholarship/bursary deadline is July 1, 2010. Program criteria: Arts/Education/Fine and Applied Arts.
